Hello beauty! If you've just purchased or are considering purchasing from our Actives Collection, here's some information you may find helpful.
Instructions:
Cleanse your face throughly (we recommend the goPure Vitamin C Facial Cleanser) pat dry and apply toner (we recommend the goPure Hydrating Toner).
Next, Apply your serums in this order:
1. Actives Brighten & Even or Original Vitamin C Serum
2. Actives Hydrate & Smooth or Original Hyaluronic Acid Serum
3. Actives Firm & Lift or Original Retinol Serum (apply only at night)
Apply 4-6 drops of each serum to face, neck and chest. Allow 30 seconds between each serum application for absorption.
For help deciding whether an Active Serum or Original Serum is right for you, keep reading or scroll down to the section titled "What's the difference between the Vitamin C Serum and the Brighten & Even Serum?"
Then, Apply your Intensive Spot Corrector:
Twist the bottom of the Intensive Spot Corrector until you see the white spot correcting formula start to peak out from behind the stainless steal applicator tips. Roll the spot treatment onto specific dark spots and instances of discoloration you want to visibly improve.
Please note: The first time you use the spot corrector you will need to twist the bottom of the pen for 20-30 seconds to prime the applicator. After that, 4-5 clicks will be plenty.
Finally, apply your moisturizer:
We have three moisturizers to choose from: the Vitamin C Moisturizer, the Actives Glyco-Peptide Anti Wrinkle Cream and the Retinol Cream.
The Retinol Cream should only be used at night since Retinol causes skin to be irritated by UV rays (sunshine).
Both the Vitamin C Moisturizer and the Glyco-Peptide Anti Wrinkle Cream can be as an AM and PM moisturizer.
So, which one is right for you?
The Vitamin C moisturizer a rich cream, packed with wonderful ingredients including Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil and Green Tea. Our customers love this product for its brightening, moisturizing properties. Packaged in in our signature airless pump container, this moisturizer is a perfect balance of quality ingredients at an affordable price. You can use this morning and evening, or use the this cream in the morning and one of the other two options at night!
Lastly, the Retinol Cream is made with pure retinol rather than the less effective derivatives such as retinyl palmitate, so you know you’re getting the most effective ingredients possible for your best results. And, our airless jar delivery system reduces oxidation and keeps the product fresh as can be. We recommend you use this cream at night before bed.
The Glyco-Peptide Anti Wrinkle Cream is a luxurious blend of peptides and proprietary ingredients Dermaxyl® and MATRIXYL®. If you want to target the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, look no further. Fortified with Glycolic Acid, Niamicide and Tamarind Seed this moisturizer is like dessert for your skin! This formula targets signs of aging including dry, sagging and thinning skin for a years younger look. Use morning and evening for best results.
*If you have sensitive skin, or have had a reaction to Retinol in the past, we would recommend you use the Vitamin C Moisturizer or Anti Wrinkle Cream rather than the Retinol Cream. Always wear sunscreen when using any products that contain Retinol.
What's the difference between the Vitamin C Serum and the Brighten & Even Serum?
The Vitamin C Serum (left) is a customer favorite. Formulated with stabilized Vitamin C, Ferulic Acid, Vitamin E and Jojoba Oil, this wonderful serum is a perfect paring of powerful ingredients at a budget friendly price. With more than 500 five star reviews, there's no doubt this serum delivers excellent results!
The Brighten & Even Serum (right) contains a two different forms of Vitamin C called SUPEROX-C, made from the Australian Kakadu Plum, and Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, another powerful form of Vitamin C. It also contains a new ingredient called SoluMoist (made from Tamarindus Seed). The ingredients in this new serum are more expensive, and can yield more powerful results if skin tone and texture is of special concern to you.
ALL goPure serums are: clinically tested, cruelty free and made in the USA with globally sourced components.
*Please note, each of the new Actives Serums come in opaque white glass containers - not plastic!
What's the difference between the Hyaluronic Acid Serum and the Hydrate & Smooth Serum?
The Hyaluronic Acid Serum (left) is another customer favorite. Fortified with Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Green Tea, this serum plumps and hydrates thirsty skin for a more youthful looking glow. It penetrates quickly and provides lasting hydration without weighing skin down.
The Hydrate & Smooth Serum (right) is an advanced formula for extra dry, thirsty skin. It is made with 3 different forms of Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Hyluronate (high molecular weight), Tamarind Seed (botanical) and Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid (low molecular weight). These unique ingredient allow this formula to visibly quench very thirsty, dry and wrinkling looking skin.
As it is with with most things, more advanced ingredients cost more - so we would recommend this formula for people who are looking for "above and beyond" powerful hydration.
What's the difference between the Retinol Serum and the Firm & Lift Serum?
The Retinol Serum (left) is a 2.5% Retinol solution fortified with Hyaluronic Acid, Jojoba Oil and Green Tea. It is excellent at improving the appearance of wrinkles, sagging skin, and fine lines. The ingredients we've fortified the formula with help to rehydrate and nourish skin, since Retinol can be irritating to some people's skin.
The Firm & Lift Serum (right) contains a different type of Retinoid called Bakuchiol. It is a botanical Retinoid, so many people who cannot use traditional forms of Retinol (due to irritation) have been able to use this botanical Retinoid without the negative side effects! It also contains Granactive Retinoid, which helps improve the appearance of age spots as well as wrinkles, and botanical hyaluronic acid for hydration. Just like the other Actives serums, the Firm & Lift Serum is more expensive due to its more powerful, specialized ingredients.
