What is Rosehip Oil and what does it do?
Rosehip is a pure pressed oil from the seeds of the fruit of specific rose bushes. It is packed with antioxidants, Omegas, & vitamins, like Vitamin A, C, & E. It has been used for centuries & is well tolerated by all skin types. It can improve the appearance of multiple skin concerns including fine lines & wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, & dark spots. It can help skin feel softer & can improve the look of inflammation & help protect against oxidative stress from UV exposure.
It can be used under or over your moisturizer, however I prefer to apply it after my moisturizer to help seal everything in.
Press a few drops into the skin.
Rosehip Oil can be used day or night.

Do I need to wash off my PM skin care in the morning or can I just apply my morning products without cleansing?
Cleansing helps prepare our skin to fully receive & absorb our skin care. Gentle cleaning morning & night helps remove excess dirt, oil, sweat, bacteria, & environmental stressors. There are ingredients, like retinol & glycolic acid, that may be used in our evening routine that can make our skin more sensitive to the sun, so it’s also important to wash those off before applying our morning routine.
What do I do if my skin feels dry after using retinol?
When you begin using a product with retinol, it can make the skin feel more dry or sensitized for a few weeks. This is normal as your skin becomes used to the positive changes that happen from this ingredient. The ‘sandwich method’ can help acclimate your skin to retinol.
How To Use:
- Cleanse & tone the skin & allow it to fully dry. If your skin is very sensitive, wait a full 10 minutes.
- Apply your moisturizer or a bit of Argan Oil or Rosehip Seed Oil to the skin & allow it to absorb.
- Use a pea sized amount of retinol product & evenly dot it around the face, avoiding the eye and mouth area, & massage it into the skin.
- Let it absorb for 5 or more minutes.
- Top with your moisturizer or oil to ‘sandwich’ the retinol serum in between the moisturizing products. It’s good to finish your retinol skin care routine with plenty of nourishing moisture to help protect the skin. (I apply my Argan Oil LIBERALLY on retinol nights.)
Pro Tip:
It’s important to start slowly with retinol. Use it 1-2 times your first week, 2-3 times the next week & so on. If you feel your skin is too dry you can cut back a day in your weekly routine.

In which order do I apply my products?
This all depends on your actual routine. Generally we cleanse, exfoliate, tone, treat with serums, & moisturize. During the day we end with SPF. One rule of thumb that is used is apply your products that have the thinnest consistency to the thickest consistency. I use the rule of water-based products to oil based products.
Pro Tips:
Hyaluronic Acid can make products penetrate more deeply when it’s under your other skin care products. If your skin is sensitive, add the Hyaluronic Acid after your more active serums.

Lightweight oils can go under or over your moisturizer. When it’s underneath, make sure you give it 5 minutes to absorb. Richer oils should go on top of moisturizer.
Don’t stress about order of application, especially when it comes to your serums. Just getting them on the skin is what really matters.
All of goPure's moisturizers can be used day and night, with the exception of the Retinol Night Cream (which should only be used at night).
How do I know what to use during the day and what to use at night?
The rule that works well: Vitamin C & antioxidants during the day, so your Vitamin C Serum or Brighten & Even Serum, plus, your Hyaluronic Acid or Hydrate & Smooth Serum. These help protect your skin from UV radiation from sun exposure.
Use retinol or exfoliate at night. These ingredients can make your skin more sensitive to the sun and UV can actually deactivate retinol.
Do I use my Original Serums and Active Serums together?
These are all amazing products & it’s great if you have them both, however it is best to choose one option each day. You don’t need to use both of the lines at the same time.
However, if you have a mix of the individual serums, for example an Original Vitamin C Serum & the Actives Hydrate & Smooth Serum, then you can use both together. But if you have the Trio Sets of each, then it's best to stick with one option.

Can I mix my serums together before applying them?
It’s best to apply them separately & give them 1-2 minutes to absorb before adding the next one.
Pro Tip:
The Retinol Serum & the Firm and Lift Serum should be applied on DRY skin. The other serums are best applied on damp skin.

We would recommend you switch back to the original serums. For the issues around the eye area, please try our eye gel and Vitamin C cream. I have been using goPure for almost a month. Love the vitamin C products. I have a very crepey dry neck wrinkles. The neck is totally aging. What would you recommend to get any type of improvement. Thank you
I love your products, however, I am totally confused as to how to use them. I purchased three the first time I used go pure, when I reordered I did not get the same ones and got a totally different set. I wish you would write on the containers, “morning” then “night” I am constantly trying to remember which to use. I believe the products as good but now I do not know which are best for me. I have an average complexion not too dry or not too oily. Help!!! I have brown spots on my hands and have been using the retinol but it no avail??
