How To Use
STEP 1
Thoroughly cleanse your skin. Double cleanse if necessary to ensure full removal of makeup, dirt, and oil. Pat skin dry.
Sensitive or dry skin types can benefit from pressing in a small amount of oil on the damp skin before dermaplaning to give extra cushion and slip between the skin and the blade.
STEP 2
Clean the dermablade before each use. 70% alcohol is recommended.
STEP 3
Hold the skin taut and the dermablade close to parallel, but no more than a 45 degree angle to the skin. Gently glide the blade in short, downward or angular strokes around the face with soft pressure.
Try to keep to one pass of the blade per section of the face. We recommend moving the blade in the direction of the hair growth, not against it. Clear the blade from excess hair and debris as necessary.
STEP 4
Follow with toning the skin and your daytime routine. Please be sure to use SPF after dermaplaning.
Products with aloe vera, rosehip seed oil, hyaluronic acid, turmeric, niacinamide, antioxidants, ceramides, argan oil, glycerine, and other humectants and emollients are beneficial after dermaplaning.

How often should I dermaplane?
Because dermaplaning has an exfoliating effect, we recommend using the tool once every week or two.
How do I clean my dermaplane tools?
We recommend sterilizing your tool before each use with 70% alcohol. Please cover the blade and dispose of it in the trash when it becomes dull to avoid tugging and irritation.
Is there anything I should avoid while dermaplaning?
To avoid irritation and over-exfoliating, please avoid using retinol or exfoliating acids like glycolic acid, or scrubs for 24-48 hours after dermaplaning. Please also avoid dermaplaning over active breakouts or inflamed/irritated skin.
How long until I see results?
Most of our customers notice at least some noticeable improvement in the look of their skin in 2-4 weeks. For more serious results our Actives line does deliver them faster - about 30 days of consistent, daily use for noticeable improvements. For the originals line it takes about 60 days of consistent use to see big improvements.
